The white mans burden is poem about hoe white men are the domonant ones and how there better than everyone els. its basicly a racial poem about white people and how there better. i dont really agree with it cause its saying that the white man was the domant ones when everyone els out in some efford too and basicly the poem is just saying that white people should get all the credid when they werent the only ones doing the work. we mite still be living the white mans burden considering white people that think there the domonat ones and saying that they did everything and other people did nothing. hence, people being racicst against other types of people, and its not just white poeple that can be racist, it can be spanish,black, or asian too, who are racist agians t any other religion or race other than there own. its kinda proven that white people are the domonat race, with governmant and technological advances.

One of the main european countries were the british. They were looking to take over and also find the reason for the nial river and why it flowed up north and not down like the rest of the rivers. the wound up finding the source and the river thats at the very start of it wich they named Lake Victoria after there queen. They were able to conqure africa so easly because of the technological advances that they had over the africans.

Some hardship that europeans faces when they entered africa was the natives that lived there and also how large of a scale africa is, and trying to take over africa seems impoosible because of that. They could never find the source of the nial river bedcause if they tryied, theyd get attacked by tribes, aligators, and even bugs. another big obstical they faced was lions and tigers, wich made it phisicly impossible to take over or even explor the nial river or any other part of africa. Some of the advances that europeans had over the africans was that they had guns and medicine and didnt do to much close combat wich kept them alive. they were hen able to capture africa a little easyer cause they new its weakness andfigured out how to concor this big land called africa.

Matthew Perry conviced the japanese into signing the trade treaty by sialing into japans capital Tokyo with a shit with the sails down to show there technological advances, they were shocked. then in 1854, japabn signed the treaty to allow trade. what he had that impressed them was a sail with no sails, tricking then into thinking that they were more technologicaly advanced. and with the trade open, there economy changed cause they were able to get alot more stuff for use casue of the trade.

Scientific Revolution
The Scientific Revolution is a rather loose phrase historians use to describe a profound change in intellectual thought in the 16th and 17th centuries. This change, along with the discovery of the New World and the religious transformation of Europe, forms the dividing line between the medieval world and the early modern world. The New World and the Reformation belong mainly to the earlier 16th century, so in a sense the Scientific Revolution, completes the change.

Scientific Method
For centuries, people based their beliefs on their interpretations of what they saw going on in the world around them without testing their ideas to determine the validity of these theories, in other words, they didn’t use the scientific method to arrive at answers to their questions. Rather, their conclusions were based on untested observations.
Among these ideas, since at least the time of Aristotle, people believed that simple living organisms could come into being by spontaneous generation. This was the idea that non-living objects can give rise to living organisms. It was common “knowledge” that simple organisms like worms, beetles, frogs, amd salamanders could come from dust, mud, etc, and food left out, quickly “swarmed” with life.

Creation

"Creation" or "Creationism" is based on the revelation from God as found in the first part of the book of Genesis in the Christian Bible Old Testament. The creation is described as taking place over a six-day period, after which God rested. Strict creationists believe that these were 24-hour earth days and that the earth is quite young, while others calling themselves creationists take these to be "long periods of time" and typically believe the earth to be very old.
